Chickens are the topic of conversation at the moment!!!!

On our bigger site we have been struggling with a balance between letting our chickens out to roam and them decimating the garden and all the newly planted seedlings and seeds. We have made the decision that the time has come to rehome our three friendly kindergarten chickens to a new home, to live out their days. We are seeking interest from anyone who would like one to all three chickens please contact tashr@tera.school.nz

We are also aware how much the tamariki gain from caring for animals and they do love the rhythm and routine around our chickens. Therefore we would love to have some silky chickens that don't tend to dig. We have a broody chicken that we are hoping to hatch some eggs and are wondering if anyone has a rabbit hutch or similar that we could house our chickens in to keep them safe.
