We are looking for a person to work one or two afternoons a week during term 4 2024.

The Kāpiti Waldorf Trust Whānau Care (KWTWC) is looking for someone to work 3 to 6 hours a week with some flexibility to cover other days if needed. The role will include working on term time Fridays 3pm till 6pm. This role is a fixed term offer for term 4, 2024.

This after school program is an blend of home and school for our students who have already been here for 6 hours. We want them to be able to relax and play after enjoying their afternoon tea in a home like setting.

We are looking for someone who values Waldorf Education and a screen free environment.

Having had school or kindergarten classroom experience is ideal but not required. Having a current first aid certificate is an advantage. We need a person who is reliable and able to follow processes. There will be times of sole charge when doing the role.

We offer regular work plus opportunities to do some extra work at our holiday program. Part of the package we offer is that you are able to have your children -5 to 13 years old- with you when working.

You will need to pass a police vetting and provide references that are able to be contacted.
