Kindergarten Pānui

Meet Bambi and Zoey our new silky chickens, the tamariki were very excited to be introduced to them. Adam has built them a beautiful shelter and they have moved into the sunny spot right at the front of the kinikātene.

There are only a few weeks of term left and we find this is a busy time for whānau as the end of year approaches. We keep the calm by maintaining our usual rhythm at kindergarten but the tamariki can mark the time of year with the songs we sing, and the advent tables we display.

Monday the 2nd of December at 10:30am is our advent festival for all the kindergarten classes. We really enjoy sharing this day with whānau, eating yummy kai and holding the reverence for the children to experience the wonder of this festival.

We also had a lovely Mother duck try to enroll her ducklings at school this week.
