Grey Lynn School —

Rhys Keenan, Year 6, wrote a rap about stopping animal cruelty, for his Rehu Tai.

Once he and the rap writers group were done performing their raps, they spoke about, "what now?" They've written these raps, performed them and unless you were there, you will have missed them. So they came up with ideas on how their writing can transform into other things like a comic book, a poem submitted to a magazine or animate the writing. Some are also creating their own soundtracks for their raps so you won't miss out on those afterall!

Rhys chose to send his poem to the SPCA Magazine as he has dog who is well loved and wants all animals to be loved and for animal cruelty to end. Click this link to read his amazing rap/poem about Animal Cruelty.
