Class Connector
The Class Connector role is a way of coordinating parents’ strengths and expertise in supporting our teachers with our children’s learning. Each whānau group is encouraged to have a parent in each whānau class to hold the role of Class Connector.
Key Roles:
Connect families with each other - welcome and provide essential parent to parent information.
Share information on behalf of the school including school events as they may come up.
Engage parent help to support the teacher when required, (in consultation with the whanau teachers); in class with students, for learning activities or trips, for resource support or further adult supervision for learning in and out of the classroom.
Connect students and families in a social activity once per school term as the Class Connector determines.
