Grey Lynn School took part in the Primary Schools – Champs of Champs 2019 Rugby Comp.

There were 39 teams over 130 students all playing at the Pakuranga United Rugby Club grounds. The day was fantastic.  Well done to the team for the efforts to have a go and pull together as a team on the day. A huge thank you to the parents that turned up and helped us get to the other side of Auckland. Lots of fun and laughter and no one got hurt!

On the 17th of September, the Grey Lynn Rugby Team represented Grey Lynn School at the Auckland Champs of Champs.

We did pretty well going into the tournament but there were a few ups and downs, we got through it in the end and had a good time.

Some of us let ourselves down but our team wouldn’t let that happen so we gave them a pat on the back and told them it doesn’t matter just keep playing.

We played 3 games and although not successful, we played and stuck to our game plan.  We played to the best of our abilities.

We were PROUD!
