ANZAC Parade
It was a very special day on the 25th April when approximately 200 locals from our community marched for ANZAC forces and attended the Grey Lynn RSC service.
Grey Lynn parents and children were well represented, Isla, Sadie and Forbes presented a wreath that had been created at school. There were dignitaries, soldiers (past and present), the Navy, a Scottish bagpipe band, and the Jubilation Choir also sang a moving song.
The occasion was marked with a photo with Mayor, Phil Goff and councillor, Pipa Combes. They were very interested and impressed with our Grey Lynn students who showed great respect and resilience throughout proceedings. The children definitely demonstrated the Grey Lynn Way and their parents were very proud of them.
