What a fantastic day it was to see our budding chefs compete at the Kiwi Kids Can Cook Competition - sKids Auckland heat on Saturday 26 May. This competition is organised by New Zealand Chefs Association.

The contestants included Sam , Lucille, Sofia and Jojo. These 9-10 years old represented sKids Grey Lynn and Grey Lynn School superbly. They maintained their composure, worked diligently and presented their dishes in under 30 minutes. They also encouraged each other throughout the heats, it was really touching to see :) We are SO proud of them. The parents were A+mazing too!
The best news is Jojo IS GOING TO THE FINALS in August! His dumplings wowed the judges and the lucky few that got to taste them. He also demonstrated impressive knife skills and packed his fillings with lots of veges. Kids were stoked with their goodie bag including a $20 Countdown gift voucher.
