As mentioned in our last newsletter we continue to have a number of children arriving very early for school. This is a real worry from a health and safety perspective as there is no supervision before 8.30am as teachers are preparing for the day of learning and attending meetings.

sKids, who run the After School Care programme here at Grey Lynn School, are interested in re-starting their Before School Care Programme to provide a safe environment for children before school. 

However, they do need a base number of children attending on a regular basis to make the programme a success. They are looking at offering supervised care from 8.00am - 8.30am initially for a cost of $5.00 per child or $10 for a family. They may also be able to assist with the paperwork for subsided care costs if applicable.
