What a great season the Lions had!

The Lions were made up of four Year 4 girls (Emma Jones, Cece Hegan, Mia Forsman and Charlotte Shattky and four Year 5 girls (Ruby Jones, Annabelle Hegan, Lucy Gribben and Phoebe Lawson. They played in the Year 5 league on Wednesdays.

We had some wins, had some losses, but most of all, we really had some fun! The improvement the girls showed across the season was amazing, their coaches were so proud of each and every one of them. There were some great tight matches with plenty of flying intercepts, tight defence, and great shooting. The girls put 110% effort in every week, even in the rain and even when suffering a few injuries here and there. They always bounced back and gave it everything, and best of all played with fantastic team spirit and good sportsmanship. They all seem to love the game and we look forward to the Spring League in Term 4.
