Aloha 2020 will be bigger and brighter than in recent years. It will utilise our expanded school grounds and our Gymnasium for a weather back-up option!

For those new families to our school, Grey Lynn School Aloha night has a very special history. It is a chance for our families to come together and connect while listening to great entertainers from our school and wider community, eat yummy food and let the tamariki loose on some activities.

A successful event for all of us will require some help from all of you. In the coming 5 weeks there will be many opportunities for you to lend a hand . We will keep you updated on a weekly basis on how you can help.

Pop Up Tents

Lolly Lei’s

• Ula Lole is all about "The Lolly Lei" and we are holding our very own Lolly Lei making workshops. Everyone welcome, bring your laughter and hands. Be ready to meet some Lolly Lei Making Experts.   Our first workshop will be next Tuesday 18th Feb at 8:30am - 9:30, in the staff retreat on the Williamson level.  Pop in, everyone welcome for any amount of time you can spare.

Raffle items

• We are having a ‘Super Brights ‘day on Friday 21st February. Staff and children are encouraged to wear anything Fluro and bright. This could include headwear, hats, scarfs, accessories, clothes, shoes or socks.

We are asking everyone who dresses up to bring an item for our Aloha 2020 Raffles.

We're looking for performers from our community

• Are you a parent in a band? Know any ex-students in a band? Dance-troupe? DJ, Solo Artist? We would love to include you in our celebration. Please email us glschoolfundraising@gmail.com with any ideas for performers.
