Femur, pelvis, skull, heart, lungs, kidneys... where would you find these things in your body??

This term, the Tui Hub are learning about the different systems that are found in their bodies. For their 'inquiry spark', tamariki worked in groups to cut out and put together a skeleton. They then needed to cut out all of the internal organs and see if they could put them in the right place. It was great to see the tamariki using the Marshland MANA values of Ako - learner and Ngā tahi - working together. The tamariki have now chosen one of the body systems to learn more about. We look forward to sharing later in the term our understanding of body systems.
