This week we've been diving into the world of dominoes in our classrooms.

Dominoes are a terrific mathematics tool! Students benefit greatly from exposure to the different visual representations of numbers that they offer.

We have strengthened our counting skills, worked on number recognition and discussed concepts like same and different / less than and greater than. Dominoes have also been super helpful in assisting us to practise our counting-on addition strategy.

We have used a variety of games to make the learning fun and engaging. Dominoes Parking Lot, Highest Number Wins and Follow the Leader are now all popular inclusions in our game boxes.
