Three Year 3-4 Jump Jam teams competed at the Christchurch Strictly Jump Jam competition with fantastic results.

On Saturday 10th August, our Year 3-4 Jump Jam teams competed at the Strictly Jump Jam competition at Cashmere High School.

The teams had practised their routines for two terms. They worked hard to learn the movements, chants and calls. All teams represented Marshland School extremely well on the day. There were 20 Year 3-4 teams competing over 2 rounds.

• In round 1 Marshland Jammers (Witch Doctor routine) received a certificate of merit in technical execution and a certificate of merit in presentation.

• In round 1 our Marshland MANA (Celebrate routine) received a certificate of excellence in presentation and a certificate of merit in technical execution. They got 2nd place in round 1 (out of 10 teams).

• In round 2 our Marshland Jump Jam Crew (I want it all routine) received a certificate of excellence in presentation and a certificate of excellence in technical execution. They got 1st place in round 2 (out of 10 teams) and overall winner of round 1 and 2.

The Marshland Jump Jam Crew have been invited to go to the National Jump Jam Challenge competition in November.
