We have no Out-of-Zone enrolments or School Ballot for Term 1, 2025. To enrol at Marshland School you need to be living within our school zone. Please refer to our map and zone information below to see whether you are eligible.

If you are eligible and live within the zone below, we welcome your application for enrolment. Please follow our step-by-step process below.

Please also follow the link to view our school's Cohort Entry Policy to know when New Entrant children (first time at a school) are likely to start. Please note that Cohort Entry is only relevant to New Entrant children (first time at a school).

STEP 1

Complete the Expression of Interest to Enrol to support provisional enrolment criteria. Please CLICK HERE for this form.

Please do not complete an Expression of Interest to Enrol if your child is under three years of age.

An email copy of what you recorded on this form is confirmation that we have received your application.

STEP 2

The school will contact you within approximately four months of your child starting school after you have completed the Expression of Interest to Enrol form. 

We will require further information outlined below. Original copies should be brought into the office for viewing and photocopying.

Once these documents are provided, you will be given an online link to complete the Online Enrolment Form via our Student Management System - HERO.

1. APPLICANTS MUST PROVIDE CURRENT PROOF OF IN-ZONE RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS AS FOLLOWS:

• A Rates Notice or a Sales and Purchase Agreement

• PLUS a Utility bill. These documents must be no older than 3 months

If you cannot provide both of the above documents, we require:

• An Official Tenancy Agreement PLUS a Utility Bill.

• If you move out-of-zone within 12 months, enrolment may be reviewed
  

2. COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR PASSPORT:

• New Zealand Birth Certificate (Preferred) or New Zealand Passport (if a NZ Citizen)

• Australian Passport (if you are an Australian citizen)

• A New Zealand Residency Permit or New Zealand Student Visa/permit, and a Parental work permit if your child is not a New Zealand citizen.

3. IMMUNISATION CERTIFICATE:

• From your Plunket book, or this can be obtained from your doctor.

  
  

STEP 3

When we receive your completed Online Enrolment Form and supporting documents, you will be sent a letter with details of your child/children’s school visits, along with information sessions for New Entrant students. You can find all additional enrolment information on our school website (e.g. New Entrant enrolment, information about our school uniforms, start times, how to report absences etc.). Your enrolment will then be complete.
