Getting to know our school community in 2022.

Kia ora i te whānau! We are Piwakawaka hub, a satellite unit of Ferndale school. Our students are beautifully unique and require extra support for their learning and day to day activities. Our program focuses on social and emotional skills, functional life skills, learning through play, and functional literacy and numeracy. We have a wonderful group of 15 junior students this year, many of which are brand new to Marshland school. We love to be outside and enjoy the many climbing, running and wheeling opportunities available in the Marshland playground. Our teachers are Jess, Justin and Franzel. Please don’t hesitate to come say “Kia ora” if you see us outside playing!
