Mask Wearning Update
Marshland School - Te Rito Harakeke has moved to masks being strongly encouraged, as per the Orange Framework setting.
The Board has engaged in another review of the Mask wearing policy which was initially implemented for the first 6 weeks of Term 3.
Due to reduced Covid-19 case numbers in our community and winter illness, we have moved to masks wearing being strongly encouraged for staff and students, as per the Orange Framework setting.
Many of our staff will continue to wear masks when in front of parents, whānau and students. In addition, staff will continue to support students wearing masks and will have additional masks available for their use in the classroom.
We ask that parents and whānau continue to wear masks when entering the learning spaces in the Orange Framework setting. Like you, we are eagerly awaiting the next Government announcement regarding framework settings in the coming week or so.
