A Fun-Filled Adventure in Healthy Living! - Kiwi (Year 0-1)

Our tamariki had an amazing time learning with Helly and Harold this week! They were so engaged as we explored the nine important things that help keep us healthy and happy. We worked together to solve a puzzle using objects that represented each of these things.

 Our tamariki also got to check out Harold’s lunchbox—but uh-oh! Harold hadn’t made the best choices for a healthy, energy-packed meal. We learned that starting with a sandwich or wrap is a great idea because it gives us long-lasting energy.

The children loved Harold calling water "brain juice"—it helps keep our brains sharp and alert! We also talked about how important it is to eat a variety of foods with lots of different colors.

To wrap up our learning, we had a fun disco session—dancing our way to "Get fit, Get healthy!" 🎶💃
