Autumn Leaves - Pukeko

Samantha Jones —

To celebrate Autumn the Pukeko tamariki wrote diamante poems about Autumn Leaves.

This week in the Pukeko Hub we have been writing diamante poems about Autumn leaves. To do this we had to learn about nouns, adjectives and verbs. We then brainstormed these types of words as a class and chose which ones we would use in our own poem. These words were arranged in a diamond like shape. After writing our poems we took some time to publish our work. We used our neatest handwriting and gave our poem a title. We are really proud of the poems we produced. You can now see these on display in the Pukeko Hub.
