48 runners competed in the Zones Cross Country on Tuesday 31st May - Talk about speed!

On Tuesday 31st of May 48 tamariki headed on down to the Zones Cross Country Champs held at Queenspark School. The year 5/6 students completed a 2km course and the year 7/8 students a 3km. There was great team spirit on the day with the finish line lined with Marshland School students and parents cheering everyone on.

After lots of speedy times it was great to still see the smiles between the red cheeks. The top 8 of each race qualify for the Canterbury Primary School Cross Country Champs, we have 12 athletes heading off this year.
