We have had our first committee meeting, and the dates have been set - production 2021, here we come!

We are extremely excited to announce that our production for 2021 is Aladdin Jnr.  After postponing it last year due to Covid, we are ready to go this year!

All students in Year 5-8 will have the opportunity to audition for the production, and there will be singing and non singing parts.  We will also have a choir that supports the ensemble pieces. As numbers are limited, students must audition to be considered for any of the parts.

We are currently gauging interest from students, and plan to have auditions the week after Easter.  Some children are nervous at this prospect, and will shy away from this process, so if you think your child would be interested, please can you urge them to put their name down when the opportunity comes about.

During term 2 we will be learning the production.  This will involve practises during school time, and as we progress there will be some before school, break time and potentially one or two weekend practises.  We will be performing our production in week 3 of term 3.
