An epic day of new skills learnt, teamwork and lots of smiles!

Today we headed down to Burnside Park for the annual year 4-6 Rugby Fun Day. We sent 71 students across 6 teams and had a fabulous time! 

The day was run by Canterbury Rugby who supplied the referees and ran a tackle clinic. All students played four games throughout the day. There was great sportsmanship shown and it was great for our tamariki to get to work together and meet other teams (ngàtahi). Lots of aumangea (perseverance) was shown by students giving something new a go.

Huge thank you to Preston Bell for organising, Luke Millar and Chontelle for coming along. However, the day wouldn't have been able to happen without our incredible parent helpers, thank you Keith Foster, Danny Yeoward, Dave Adair and Katie Pou. We couldn't have done it without you!
