Marshland MANA

Riki Culley - February 10, 2022

At Te Rito Harakeke - Marshland School, we want to provide and follow clear and consistent behavioural expectations.

Our tamariki, kaimahi (staff), and whānau are encouraged to live and act according to our Marshland MANA school values:

  • Manaakitanga - Displaying respect and care towards peers, teachers, and the environment

  • Ako - Learner - Demonstrating a growth mindset, students always give their best and engage in learning

  • Ngātahi - Working well together, connecting, communicating, and collaborating positively with others

  • Aumangea - Display resilience by taking risks, showing ‘grit’, and bouncing back.As staff, the most important behaviour strategy is knowing our tamariki and forming appropriate, positive relationships with them.
