EPRo8 Challenge
Our outstanding EPRo8 teams made us proud this week!
We had one team competing in the Year 7-8 competition and two in the 5-6 competition for EPro8 at Kaiapoi North School this week.
The teams had to complete a range of science and technology-based challenges that covered different physics and/or technology aspects. Each challenge was made of parts that ranged in difficulty. The more difficult the task, the more points a team could score.
Students selected challenges that appealed to them, as there is not enough time to complete all of the challenges.
Each challenge is designed to be visually appealing, look great in photos, and be something the tamariki are very proud of.
We want to congratulate Delilah, Gemma, Henry, Izzy, Joesph, Louie, Orion and Rosie, who competed in the Year 5-6 competition. For many of these students, it was their first experience at EPro8, and we are super proud of their efforts!
Our Mighly Marshland Martians (Year 7-8 team), including Sophia, Olivia, Cooper and Adam, managed to secure 3rd place and have progressed to the next round in the competition.
