We are passionate about reading at Marshland School. Your tamariki will bring home a book to share with you from the first day.

It's great to make it an enjoyable, relaxed time to share the book together. 

It is very important for you to keep reading to your tamariki every day as this encourages a love for reading, a wonderful bond and an opportunity for your tamariki to hear many new words and ideas. On Fridays, instead of a reader your tamariki will bring home a rhyme to share.
