Living Springs Camp- Korimako (Year 5-6)
Korimako recently headed away on camp to Living Springs!
On March 1st, Korimako ākonga headed on a bus bound for Living Springs. This involved a two night stay at the campground, jam packed with exciting activities, amazing food and some tricky challenges!
The camp started with a hike along the Whakaraupō Harbour from Governors Bay to Living Springs. Students displayed an incredible amount of aumangea during this walk and were rewarded with the fantastic views from the campsite. Once at the campsite, students set up their bunkrooms which they would call home for the next two nights.
The next two days were filled with adventure and fun. This included; swimming, spotlight, animal survival, archery tag, rifle shooting, low ropes, rock climbing, a monorail and much more! Tamariki had a fantastic time, learning more about themselves and their classmates through the experience.
