We are learning to draw a self portrait in a superhero style.

Over the first few weeks we have been getting to know each other and how to learn best in the Pukeko Hub.

As part of this, the children did self portraits in a superhero style. They watched a YouTube clip and followed the steps to draw their picture. The children then added their own detail by adding capes, masks, stars and coloured the picture using crayons.

To finish off the picture the children added rays of light with different colours out from the body. Then they dyed the picture using contrasting colours.

The children did an amazing job of their superheroes and they are very proud of them. Please feel free to come and check out their fantastic work in the Pukeko Hub.
