Te Rito Harakeke are renewing a number of iPads and now have older models available to the community for purchase.

Each iPad will come with a case and power cord. Please note there are NO wall chargers with these devices. There is a mixture of leather cases (9), rubber cases and some with handles.

We have 27 iPads (iPad 2,16Gb - normal screen size)) running OS X 9.3.5 (unable to be updated) and 13 Mini iPads (iPad Mini 2) running OS X 12.5.7 (unable to be updated)

We are selling the 9.3.5 models for $20 and the 12.5.7 models for $50. First in, first served. CASH only.

Although the models can no longer be updated there are still a number of apps that can be installed. Please do your research before purchasing.

I found the below information from a Apple Community Forum about installing apps on older devices

"Download the desired app from the store to your newer device (iphone or whatever). Then go to your old ipad and into the appstore. Go to your purchased apps, tap the download icon. You'll be prompted with a screen saying that the app is not compatible, BUT, you can download the last working version for your ipad"

Some apps won't have an older version able to be downloaded and some will. It depends on how old the original app is.

All devices will come reset and ready for you to enter your Apple ID to download content.
