Journey Through the Digestive System: A Fun Exploration of How Our Bodies Work!

The Tūī Hub had an amazing time exploring the wonders of the digestive system in the Life Education Caravan! We learned all about the different food groups and how much of each group we should eat every day to keep our bodies healthy. The highlight was meeting Harold, the giraffe, who made us laugh with his funny jokes!

Back in class, we’ve been getting creative by making playdough models of the digestive system in groups (Ngā tahi). We will use these models to create stop-motion videos or Google Slides to explain each stage of digestion. We’ve had a blast discovering all the incredible things our bodies do to keep us going every day!
