Our annual parent-teacher conferences will be held next week. This year we are trialing online meetings. Read below to find out how to make a booking.

After the success of our distance learning program, we have decided to trial online parent-teacher conferences this year.

We see a number of advantages by moving to an online environment including being able to meet remotely, allowing parents to connect from work or home, and without the need to drag younger siblings and the whole family out on a cold winter evening.

Interviews will be held over 3 nights from Monday 22nd June to Wednesday 24th June. Teachers have blocked out days and times they will be available over these days.

To book a time go to:

1) www.schoolinterviews.co.nz/code in your browser

2) Enter the event code: eywz4. 

3) Enter your name, your child’s name, and your email address. 

4) If you need to book for more than one student, change the “Book for x children” setting, and enter the other child’s name.

5) On the next page, pick the teachers you want to meet. Then you will see a timetable showing when your chosen teachers are available. Simply click on the times that suit you. 

When you have finished, your interview timetable will be emailed to you. You can return to the site and enter the event code eywz4 again to change or cancel your interviews if required. A link to the meeting will also be provided. 😀

If you do not have internet access, please contact your child’s teacher and arrange a telephone interview.

Please ensure you book your interview with the correct teacher. Your teacher will have informed you if this is not with your child’s Home Group Teacher. 

NOTE: Kiwi Gain and Kiwi Brown/Lyons classes will not be having interviews. 

We are using the "Whereby Video Conferencing System," which is similar to Google Meet and is administered by the School Interview booking system used by Marshland School. 

When the time comes for your interview, open your email and click on the link. Whereby will ask you to enter your name and ‘knock’ on the room door. This alerts the teacher, who will let you into the room. You may need to wait a few moments and this does rely on parents running on time.
