This week we are celebrating Māori Language Week at school.

To celebrate Māori Language Week at school, the Kiwi Hub children have been completing a variety of challenges each day. We've been so excited to ako (learn), waiata (sing), kōrero (speak), whakarongo (listen) and tākaro (play) throughout the week and thought we'd share the Kahoot link incase you want to complete it at home. 

As well as celebrating this week, we've been learning different Māori Pūrākau such as Maui and the Sun and Maui and the Fish. We've enjoyed the opportunity to retell these stories through our writing and look forward to sharing these at our Celebration of Learning in Week 10.
