Board of Trustees Noticeboard
The Marshland Board of Trustees is responsible for governing the school and setting its strategic direction, including curriculum, staff, property, health and safety, finance and administration.
The key focus of the Board is providing the environment, support and resources that will enable the students of Marshland to achieve their best, be excited about learning and be confident to try new things and do their best.
We are incredibly proud of our school, our Principal, our school staff and our students.
We are a friendly close community where parents get to know each other and are encouraged to be involved in their child’s learning and development.
Our Board of Trustees meetings are generally held on the second Monday of the month (unless otherwise advertised in the newsletter).
Parents are welcome to attend the meetings which are usually open to the public, but if the board is considering confidential matters, its meeting or a part of it, will be closed.
Marshland School runs a staggered 3 year Trustee cycle. This means that trustees positions are advertised and elections held every 18 months.
The school notifies these vacancies in the school newsletter and we encourage interested parties to put their names forward for election.
