Basketball Zones

In the last week of term 2 and the first week of term 3 our 4 Zone Basketball teams showed off their epic moves shooting baskets and blocking shots.

Our year 7/8 girls dominated the competition with hardly a shot scored against them. Progressing through to the Canterburys. The year 7/8 boys played their hearts out with some solid defense just missing out on the next round.

This term both of our year 5/6 teams played in their Zones in week 1. The girls had amazing defense from the get-go and once their shots sunk in the basket they were on fire! The boys rolled onto the court looking like they were ready to play and showed the other teams what they could do. Congratulations to both of our year 5/6 teams for making it through to the Canterbury competition.
