Swimming Lessons- update
Please see below for further information regarding swimming lessons in Week 7 and 8 of Term 4.
Kia ora whānau
Thank you to everyone who responded to the form sent out a couple of weeks ago indicating that your child will not be participating in swimming lessons offered to Years 1-6 in Term 4, 2021.
With our final numbers in, we can now confirm the price for 10 lessons and transport will be $60 per child. Please make this payment prior to the commencement of lessons which start on Monday 29 November.
In following Covid-19 Level 2 health and safety guidelines no additional spectators will be allowed entry at QEII to watch your child's lessons.
Furthermore, QEII has shared its Health and Safety Guidelines below.
Please note the following Health and Safety precautions must be taken while in our facilities: Please read carefully
- Please arrive at the pool in your togs (this is to reduce the number of people in the change rooms)
- All teachers must scan in using the QR code that is displayed at the facility
- Everyone must hand sanitise (supplied)
- Enter and Exit the pool using designated entry and exit points and wait in the designated area. For Taiora QEII you will enter and exit through the emergency exit directly into the Leisure pool area. Please wait outside until you are asked to enter the building.
- Teachers are required to wear a mask when you leave the pool area (toilets, change rooms, café) however, you are not required to wear a mask poolside*
- Change rooms can be used after the lessons – please ensure students use designated areas only – showers are not to be used
- Please bring drink bottles – water fountains will not be operational
- No spectators and minimal parental help, please
*Please note that our staff are not required to wear masks whilst teaching on poolside.
- Please maintain physical distancing
In relation to parent help, this relates to the Kiwi hub only. They will be in contact with their whānau closer to the time to ask for 1 or 2 parent helpers for each homegroup who can assist over the 2 weeks.
Regards
