Pīwakawaka Writing

In Pīwakawaka we are using Predictable Chart Writing to help us learn that we are writers. We all take a turn using our AAC device to choose what we want to add to our sentence. This week we all wrote about food we like to cook, as we cook our own lunches once a week.

Pink Shirt Day Face Paint

In Pīwakawaka, we had lots of participation with Pink Shirt Day. The students even got face paint by our lovely Teacher Aide to match their pink outfits. We had a wonderful time talking about how to treat each other nicely by using kind words at school.
