Marshland School Parent Community Group Update

Many thanks to our fantastic school community for supporting our fundraising initiatives. The Quiz Fundraiser was a huge success last night at the Rowdy Kitchen, raising $3361 (incl. GST). Our tamariki also have a Pizza Lunch to look forward to in Week 10. Read below for more details.

Quiz Fundraiser at The Rowdy Kitchen

Thursday night saw the first Marshland School quiz run by the PCG, and what a fun night it was! 18 teams of 6 going head to head at the "Believe It or Not" Quiz made for a very busy Rowdy Kitchen. Well done to The Spartans team, who were the winners, and Wise Quacks and Let's Get Quizzical, coming in at second place.

A big thank you to the silent auction and raffle sponsors who donated generously. The money raised for these and the sale of tickets will go a long way towards our end goal of purchasing soft furnishings for the community space/library in the foyer, once the current teaching space is reclaimed back.

Pizza Lunch

With the end of term approaching, the Parent Community Group (PCG) have organised a pizza lunch for Marshland students on Tuesday (Week 10).

  • When: Delivered Tuesday 27th June at lunchtime (12:00pm-12:30pm)
  • What: There will be two Domino's flavours:

                  - Simple Cheese

                  - Pepperoni

  • How: Order via MyKindo, two slices of the same flavour for $5.00

** MyKindo - Open for ordering on Monday 19th June. The cut-off day is Friday 23rd June **


Next PCG Meeting Wednesday 21st June

Our next meeting is this Wednesday 21st June from 6pm-7pm in the School staff room. If you'd like to come and join us to support our fundraising efforts for soft furnishings required for the dedicated community space/library we are planning for next year. we'd love to see you.
