The Tūī tamariki have been making connections across all their learning this term as they explored the concept of 'Landforms'.
This term, the Tūi Hub have been making connections across the curriculum as they explored the concept of Landforms. They have done this through literacy (reading and writing), Science (experiments and the understanding of how landforms connect), and painting rocks (for Matariki), while learning about the rock cycle . As well as this, tamariki have been working on multiplicative thinking (multiplication and division) and have used this knowledge to help them work out the area of an object.
We have had a great term in the Tūī hub with ākonga showing the Marshland MANA value of Ako - Learner - Demonstrating a growth mindset, students always give their best and engage in learning and Ngā tahi - Working well together, connecting, communicating, and collaborating positively with others.
We look forward to sharing our learning with whānau at the Week 10 Celebration of Learning assembly.
