A reminder about our school Matariki event.
Kia ora koutou, we are getting ready and really excited to be celebrating our Matariki event that is coming up on Wednesday the 26th of June.
The event starts at 6:00pm with a finishing time of 7:00pm. To help celebrate we will have a short welcome and waiata (song) from our Kapahaka group, before you will have the opportunity to walk through the light displays created by our ākonga (learners).
We have kai (food) from Crazy Spuds, A sweet treats food truck and we will put on a tōtiti (sausage) sizzle so you can buy some food to help warm up! Our Marshland school cafe will also be open for hot drinks and these will be served from our cafe window.
Glow Sticks will be available at the gate when students enter for a gold coin donation.
We are looking forward to seeing you there and can't wait to celebrate together. You are also more than welcome to bring a torch for the event.
