Year 7 & 8 Peer Support Leaders In Action
We had a great team of leaders this year who were dedicated to providing our Year 7 & 8 students with some mentoring and connecting activities during lunchtimes.
Most activities were built around using our school core values of WHANAUNGATANGA, WHAKAUTE, KAHA, TIAKITANGA & AROHA. It was incredible to watch the junior students connect and collaborate with our leaders and feel safe and supported during the activities. The team is looking forward to expanding in 2022 and our peer support team will have a large part to play in supporting a successful and positive transition for our new students into the kura.
