Leeston Santa Run

The Leeston Santa Run is brought to you by the Selwyn Sports Trust in partnership with the Leeston Santa Parade team! Checkout the facebook page for more info: https://www.facebook.com/TheLeestonSantaRun/?modal=admin_todo_tourThe Leeston Santa Run is a fun run which will be held before the Leeston Santa Parade. The Santa run will be a short (approx) 1km to make for a spectator friendly event. The event will be run down the main street in Leeston with spectators lining the streets to watch. As the road is closed off for the Santa Parade we thought this would be a fantastic opportunity to create an exciting event in the lead up to the Santa Parade. There are categories for the whole family to enjoy, male, female, kids run, family run and the inaugural Santa Run!

  • Male - 13+
  • Female - 13+
  • Kids run - 12 and under (parent or guardian must enter for children under 12)
  • Family Run - To enter the family run you must have a family of three or more, during the run all of the family members must be connected throughout the entire run, this could be by holding onto tinsel or holding a pram for example.
  • Santa Run - The Santa Run is going to be the annual race that you are going to want to enter! Anyone can enter this race the only condition is that you must wear a Santa costume. This event will have a lot up for grabs, the annual trophy, a prize and of course bragging rights!

There are a range of prizes to give away for placegetters!

Date: Friday 6th December

Time: First race starts at 5.30pm / last race will be completed by 6pm for prize giving just after
