Lexie McLachlan: Tūī | Kererū - Learning Leader
Lexie grew up in Lower Hutt before moving to Christchurch to study her Teaching Degree. Upon graduating university, she moved to a small rural Dairy Farming town in South Taranaki, where she started her teaching career. Moving back to Christchurch in 2020, Lexie accepted a New Entrant job at Te Raekura Redcliffs School. She decided She wanted to make Selwyn her permanent home and now lives in Lincoln. When not having fun in the classroom, you might find Lexie playing & watching sport, brunching with friends or hanging with Whānau! Lexie is really excited getting to know all of the wonderful learners at Te Uru Tarata.
Chantelle Naitoro: Tūī | Kererū - Teacher
Chantelle was born in the Solomon Islands before moving to Christchurch to go to school. She completed a Bachelor of Communications in Design before studying a Graduate Diploma in Teaching. She is particularly interested in being creative and loves bringing this element to her teaching. Chantelle enjoys travelling around New Zealand with her friends and family, going swimming and is super excited about starting her teaching career at LWG.

Samantha Taylor Tūī | Kererū - Teacher
Samantha was born in Dunedin but for most of her life was raised in North Canterbury. She studied a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning at the University of Canterbury graduating in 2019. For the past two years, she has been relieving at many schools across Canterbury as well as being a pre-school swim instructor at Aquagym. In her spare time, Samantha would most likely be coaching, playing, or working on the committee for her netball club who she has been a part of for 5 years. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring the arts through music, dance, and painting. Samantha will be joining the Lemonwood Grove community at the start of Term 3.

Ruby Lynn: Tūī | Kererū - Teacher
Ruby grew up in Christchurch and studied a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) at the University of Canterbury. She has been working as an Early Childhood Teacher for three years and has relieved at a range of primary schools in and around Christchurch. Ruby loves the outdoors, hiking as well as spending time with family and friends. Ruby will take over from Paige at the beginning of Term 2.

Nicole McCutcheon: Tūī | Kererū - Teacher
Nicole grew up in Dunedin and attended Kaikorai Valley College before studying at Otago University. She has been teaching since 2016 including spending a year teaching in Dubai. Nicole is passionate about inclusive education and believes everyone should be given the opportunity to learn. Outside of school she enjoys playing sport, keeping active and spending time with her friends and family.
