Adventure Weeks

The feedback has been really positive from our Year 5-8 learners who have been involved in 'Adventure Week'. Due to covid we weren't able to attend the planned camps this year so made the decision to get out and enjoy what was on offer around Christchurch.
The groups have travelled to Sumner for surfing, Halswell Quarry for Orienteering, Orton Bradley Park for high ropes along with Jellie Park for some fun.
Thanks to all the staff and parents who made these events possible through the organisation and support on the day.

Production
Just a reminder that the production can be downloaded for free so you can keep it as a record or share with friends and family.
There is a maximum download per day so if you are having difficulty please try again the next day.
If you are having any difficulty please dont hesitate to get in touch with Troy - troyl@lemonwoodgrove.school.nz

Year 8 vs Staff
This week the staff played soccer against our Year 8's. It was a great game played competitively with both teams wanting to win.
It was played in front of a big crowd and fun was had by all involved.
The staff came away with the win 3-0.

Year 8 Leavers
I would like to wish you all the very best as you enter into high school next year. I know many will have mixed feelings but please be reassured you are all awesome and are ready for the exciting opportunities that being at high school will bring.
Please remember you are forever connected to Te Uru Tarata | Lemonwood Grove School. Although as staff we remain here at school, we continue to be invested in your education and are genuinely interested in hearing of your successes.
You are always welcome to call into school and reconnect with the people.

Safe & Happy Holidays
This will be the last newsletter for the year and I want to thank you again for the continued support for the school.

Have a safe and happy holiday break. Look after each other and keep smiling.

He aha te mea nui o te ao?
He tangata! He tangata! He tangata!

What is the most important thing in the world?
It is people! It is people! It is people!
