You're Invited! PTA Meeting - Thursday 27th March 2025
Kia ora whānau
It was great to see some new faces and welcome back familiar ones at our February meeting last month. Thank you all so much for attending.
Our March meeting is Thursday 27th March at 7pm. Held at The Pedal Pusher.
We understand you may be busy, but we believe your input and involvement are invaluable to the success of our students and school community. This meeting is a fantastic opportunity to connect with other parents and to learn more about what's happening in the school community.
For those who are new to the concept, a PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a vital organisation that works to foster a strong partnership between parents, teachers, and the school administration. We are a volunteer group dedicated to supporting Lemonwood Grove School and enriching the educational experience for all our children.
What does the PTA do?
Fundraising: We organise various fundraising events throughout the year to provide resources for things like new classroom equipment, library books, technology upgrades, school trips, and extracurricular activities that might not otherwise be possible.
Community Building: We host events that bring families together, such as family nights and movie nights, etc. These events help create a stronger sense of community within our school.
Last month, we mapped out our year with events and fundraisers, so this meeting, we will be planning term 1 and starting to work on term 2 goals.
Our fundraising goal this year is to raise money towards sports uniforms, and our community goal this year is to foster connections with our beautifully diverse community.
Your presence and participation are highly valued. Whether you're interested in actively volunteering or simply want to stay informed, we encourage you to attend.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Sincerely,
The Lemonwood Grove School PTA
