It is a privilege to be Acting Principal in Sean's absence. It is great to have the support of an amazing Board of Trustees, staff and community behind me. We wish Sean all the best for his recovery and will keep you updated on his progress.

It has been a great week at Lemonwood Grove. Today we had a visit from the school leaders at Balmoral Primary School in Auckland. They loved our grounds and learning spaces, and more importantly the learning that was happening within them. It was great to able to share our journey with them.

Nathan Wallis is currently presenting a series of seminars for parents around brain development and parenting in Christchurch. Nathan is a renowned neuroscience educator and a highly engaging speaker.  Click here for more information, dates and times.  I recommend hearing him speak if you have the opportunity.

You may have noticed two new residents at Lemonwood Grove - our hens. Thanks to Jen who organised this for our Urban Farmers Enrichment group. We hope to have eggs available for purchase soon. We are encouraging our learners to use quiet voices around the hens and to observe them carefully from outside of the fencing. Please talk to your children about this and ask if they have any suggestions for names!
