What's On in Selwyn?

The latest programmes and events guide is out now with a diverse range of activities being held around Selwyn next term.

From events and workshops to fitness classes, the programme is your complete guide to what’s on for all ages at Council facilities in your area.

In addition to regular library programmes, new this term are a variety of workshops with a focus on technology, sustainability, wellness and Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week).

September marks the return of CultureFest, a one-day event in Lincoln celebrating Selwyn’s growing diversity. This will be followed by a two-week series of events and activities around the district.

The Selwyn Sports Centre have opened their social Pickleball and Floorball sessions to all ages, while the Selwyn Aquatic Centre has added new sessions to its popular Parent Aqua Fit classes.

KidsFest 2022 is on track to be a great festival!

2021 had over 300 events over 15 days so make sure you come back this coming season for more awesome school holiday activities

From Bellies, Babies to Tweens market is for families to buy and sell pre-loved maternity, baby, kids & tweens (up to 13yrs) items all in one place. Families coming to buy can score huge savings on items needed for growing babies and kids, while families selling can earn a bit of extra cash. Families buying or selling are also doing their bit for the environment by recycling these items rather than letting them go to landfill.
