Stacey Park: Maunga | Kahurangi - Learning Leader

Stacey grew up in Ōtautahi/Christchurch and has been teaching for more than ten years. She currently lives in Halswell with her daughter. Stacey is passionate about developing positive relationships with all ākonga and their whānau. Her favourite subjects to teach are art and literacy. Stacey loves reading and listening to podcasts. In her spare time she enjoys sewing and spending time with her own whānau.

Jo Silvey: Maunga | Kahurangi - Teacher

Jo has been teaching for 25 years at a variety of awesome Christchurch schools and a school in Auckland. Before that, she worked for Hertz and Contiki and lived in London for a year. Her husband is in a band and she has three children, Ben, Millie, and Jackson, and two cats, Crafty and Mittens. Jo’s passions are art, reading, going to the gym, walking, and baking. Her favourite subject to teach is writing because she loves reading the amazing stories, poems, and facts that children imagine and retell. She lives in Rolleston and you may see her shopping or enjoying a coffee at a local cafe.

Grace Hopcroft: Maunga | Kahurangi - Teacher

Grace grew up in Ōtautahi/Christchurch and studied a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning at the University of Canterbury. After graduating she taught in Christchurch before moving over to Wales for 2 years to teach and travel. Since returning home, Grace has enjoyed reconnecting with family and friends. She likes to play social sports and really loves exploring New Zealand's amazing outdoor areas. Grace has a passion for mindfulness and the arts and loves incorporating this into her teaching. She believes in building strong relationships with learners and whānau.

Isabella Byers: Maunga | Kahurangi - Teacher

Isabella was born and raised in Christchurch and completed a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning at The University of Canterbury. After graduating, She took some time off to go travelling and spent time working at a summer camp in America. In her spare time, Isabella is often found in the kitchen or spending time with her family and friends. Isabella has been teaching at Te Uru Tarata Lemonwood Grove School since the beginning of 2022 and enjoys getting to know all the learners, staff and whānau that make up the Lemonwood Grove community. Isabella is passionate about creating a fun, supportive and hands-on learning environment for all learners to thrive in.

Elizabeth Kingston: Maunga | Kahurangi - Teacher

Elizabeth was born and raised in Christchurch and grew up in her younger years in the Selwyn district. She studied a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning at The University of Canterbury. When she is not in the classroom, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her friends and family or playing with her cats, Leah and Evie. Elizabeth is passionate about physical education and literacy and enjoys exploring these with her ākonga. Elizabeth believes in creating a learning space where her ākonga and whānau feel supported.

Zoe Argus: Hinutuhi - Teacher

Zoe grew up in Ōtautahi/Christchurch and studied psychology and education at UC before graduating with a graduate diploma in teaching from NZGSE. She taught in Christchurch before moving over to the UK for 4 years to teach and travel. She has a love for the Arts and all things creative and has taken the lead in this across previous schools.
Since returning home, she has enjoyed being back teaching in Christchurch. Zoe likes to spend time outdoors and is taking every opportunity she can to explore NZ. Zoe believes in fostering strong relationships with all ākonga and their whānau. Zoe joined the LWG team in Term 3 2021.

Tylor McIntyre - Maunga / Kahurangi - Teacher

Born in Kawatiri (Westport), Tylor has moved around having grown up in Ōtautahi (Christchurch) and Te-Tihi-o-Maru (Timaru). Tylor graduated from the University of Canterbury in December 2021.

Tylor is excited about continuing his career at Lemonwood Grove | Te Uru Tarata. When not in the akomanga, Tylor enjoys spending time with his whānau, friends, and his dog Winnie. Exploring what Aotearoa has to offer. Tylor is passionate about creating an engaging, supportive, and fun learning environment where all whānau and ākonga feel safe, valued, and welcomed. Tylor is looking forward to meeting the whānau, ākonga, and staff as he continues his journey at Te Uru Tarata | Lemonwood Grove.tylorm@lemonwoodgrove.school.nz

Mikayla Stewart - Maunga / Kahurangi - Teacher

Mikayla was born in Christchurch spending most of her life here apart from a 3-year stint in Brisbane, Australia. She studied at the University of Canterbury, where she graduated in 2022. While studying, Mikayla worked as a swimming teacher supporting children to be safe in and around the water. When Mikayla is not in the classroom she can often be found exploring cafes around Christchurch, reading a good book or spending time with friends and family. Mikayla is extremely excited to be starting her teaching journey at Lemonwood Grove School. She is looking forward to getting to know all students, their whānau, and everyone that is part of the school community.

Maddy Sullivan - Maunga / Kahurangi - Teacher

Maddy grew up in Sumner for 22 years before finding her forever home in Selwyn. After finishing school Maddy worked as a nanny and went traveling around South East Asia before graduating with a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Primary) in 2022. Maddy is very passionate about her Cook Island heritage and works hard to make sure ākonga are proud of who they are and where they are from. When not in the classroom you can find Maddy at the beach, with her friends, gardening, or spending time with whānau. She is very excited to start her teaching career at Lemonwood Grove school.
