Lexie McLachlan (Learning Leader)
Lexie grew up in Lower Hutt where she attended primary and high school. Following her schooling years, she moved to Ōtautahi to study for her teaching degree. Lexie has taught in primary schools around Aotearoa for 8 years. She loves making learning fun for everyone and values the connections made between learner, teacher and whānau. Lexie enjoys hanging out with her partner Aaron & miniature schnauzer, Teddie. She also loves a good book, swimming and going on holiday with her friends and family.

Maddy Sullivan
Maddy grew up in Sumner for 22 years before finding her forever home in Selwyn. After finishing school Maddy worked as a nanny and went traveling around South East Asia before graduating with a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Primary) in 2022. Maddy is very passionate about her Cook Island heritage and works hard to make sure ākonga are proud of who they are and where they are from. When not in the classroom you can find Maddy at the beach, with her friends, gardening, or spending time with whānau.

Georgia McHugh
Georgia has been a part of the team at Lemonwood Grove since 2021, after completing her BTchLn (Primary) in 2020. Georgia loves having fun with her little learners and building meaningful relationships with them. She’s stoked to work in the exciting, evolving Rolleston community. When not at school, Georgia enjoys ballet, musical theatre, and exploring Christchurch with her husband and their dogs.

Nenagh Mackie
Born and raised on a lifestyle block on the outskirts of Christchurch, it was a logical choice for Nenagh to study at Lincoln University, where she chose Commerce as her major. It was through her part-time job as an after-school care Programme Facilitator, however, that Nenagh developed a love for working with children. She then completed a Master of Teaching and Learning at the University of Canterbury before spending the last 2 years teaching in a NE-YR 2 class at Loburn School, extending her skills and taking on new challenges and learning opportunities. In her spare time, Nenagh enjoys hiking, going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.

Anna Meehan
Anna grew up in Port Chalmers, Dunedin and has spent her time living between here, Christchurch and Wānaka. Being the eldest of five children, whānau relationships play an important role in her life and she enjoys getting to know the students and whānau that make up the school community. Anna has spent time studying te reo Māori at Te Wānanga and is passionate about including Māori reo and tikanga into everyday school life. She enjoys learning about the many cultures within the Rolleston community and likes sharing her learning with others. Anna believes school should be enjoyed and loves helping students learn with positive and can-do attitudes. Outside of school, Anna loves spending time outdoors, reading, playing football and spending time with her two wee dogs, Syd and Bella.

Grace Hopcroft
Grace grew up in Ōtautahi/Christchurch and studied a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning at the University of Canterbury. After graduating she taught in Christchurch before moving over to Wales for 2 years to teach and travel. Since returning home, Grace has enjoyed reconnecting with family and friends. She likes to play social sports and really loves exploring New Zealand's amazing outdoor areas. Grace has a passion for mindfulness and the arts and loves incorporating this into her teaching. She believes in building strong relationships with learners and whānau.

Jaimee Mercer
Jaimee was born and raised in sunny Whakatu before moving to Otautahi in 2021 to study a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Primary) at the University of Canterbury. She began teaching at Te Uru Tarata | Lemonwood Grove School in 2024. Passionate about the outdoors, Jaimee loves exploring Canterbury's landscapes and spending time with her friends and whānau. Jaimee believes in the importance of creating strong relationships with her students and their whānau. She values the unique contributions of every learner and strives to build a learning environment where everyone feels welcomed and valued.
