Incredible Years is set to start in Rolleston on Friday 26th July, 9.30am at Lemonwood Grove School. It is an evidence-based, 14 week parenting programme.

Incredible Years is credited with many positive outcomes including parent connections and friendships, the support of two child professionals every step of the way and strategies that really help. Incredible Years is for parents of 3 to 8 year olds and is also completely free (funded by the Ministry of Education).

Your facilitators are: Anna Mowat and Katie Reihana.

Anna has been facilitating Incredible Years for 8 years. She has a background in English and psychology and spends her time also working across the All Right? campaign and is currently co-designing an app to support parents whose chldren find it tricky to manage their big emotions. Most importantly she is an imperfect Mum to 3 girls.

Katie has grown up in Christchurch and is from Ngati Porou and Ngāi Tahu descent. She has a lovely daughter Aroha who is 11. Katie’s background is in Social Work and she works at Te Puawaitanga as a Social Worker on the Tamariki Ora/Well child service team. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with whānau, and both watching and playing softball.
