In response to safety concerns raised regarding the layout and operation of the school carpark, Lemonwood Grove School Board of Trustees engaged traffic engineering consultancy ViaStrada Ltd to undertake a post construction safety audit on the carpark.

The audit identified a number of safety concerns ranging from minor to significant in nature. The concerns centred around the carparks design, operation, signage and line markings. The report also provided corrective measures to address the identified safety concerns.

The audit report will be forwarded to the Ministry of Education for comment and corrective action.
