Support Lemonwood Grove School and you’ll be rewarded!
It's great to be back at LWG working mornings (at this stage). One observation I made on Monday was how caring and empathetic our learners are. A number of children came up to me and were genuinely interested in how I was. This is a key indicator that a positive school culture based on our values is alive here at Lemonwood Grove.
A charter sets the direction for a school and identifies the priorities the board expects the principal to be leading. The charter is also the key-planning document for our school. It includes strategic aims and annual plans.
Each newsletter we will provide an explanation of some of the words and phrases that we use here at LWG. This week: KAI and CONNECT breaks.
We have recently updated our A - Z Information Book.
Please see the following community notices.
We are already starting to plan for 2019. If you know of any families who are intending to enrol their child(ren) at Lemonwood Grove either in term 4 or next year year, can you please get them to contact Sarah: office@lemonwoodgrove.school.nz.
The support we are getting from our local community is amazing.
Just a reminder that our staff are available to chat to you informally from 8:30-8:55am and then 3:00- 3:15pm each day, apart from Tuesday when we have Professional Development.
Thank you to Pip Calder and Jimmy Handcock from Regal Electrical who have sponsored our Vistab.
ASB School Donation Voucher.
Did you know that we currently have three amazing learning assistants?
Last term we were very fortunate to be gifted further safety vests for our learners.
We would like to welcome our new learners Aarush, Leeroy, Alexia-Charlie, Maheedi, Sean, Jazel, Kayden, April, Riley, Zakaiah and their families to Lemonwood Grove School. We will be formally welcoming learners and whanau who have joined us over recent weeks to our Mihi Whakatau tomorrow @ 9:15am in the hall. We would appreciate the support of our existing families (tangata whenua). Kai will be served after the Mihi Whakatau.
